How to Create REALISTIC GLOW in SNAPSEED APP | Android | iPhone | SNAPSEED TUTORIAL
Today we are gonna try to get a realistic glow on this Snail using Snapseed app.
- Before starting, a big shoutout to my channel members for the support!
- After importing the image in Snapseed, first thing I am gonna make an orangish background
- which would be used later.
- Using Curves, dragging the lower point to the top to make the image completely white.
- Next again with Curves, dragging the blue curve down to turn the image yellowish.
- Also the green curve for magenta which in combination with yellow, we are gonna get an orangish tone.
- Saving this as a separate copy and reverting back to the original and starting over.
- So now first with Curves, darkening the overall image.
- Now going to masking screen, bringing back the brightness only on the snail so that the
- remaining parts remain dark.
- Still some parts are brighter on the left edge around here.
- Again darkening the image...
- ...and applying it only around this edge to make that part more dark.
- Now brightening the image overall again with Curves.
- Going to masking screen, applying it around the base of the snail mainly.
- Also around here.
- I will also try creating a big blob of light at the bottom of the head of the snail.
- So adding lot of brightness with Curves.
- Applying it in the masking screen.
- Trying to make it look more natural.
- Now we will try creating warm light emitting out of the snail.
- With Double Exposure, adding the earlier saved orangish background and choosing overlay mode...
- ...and increasing the opacity a bit.
- Will be applying these in parts.
- So in masking screen, tapping on this bright part to replicate bright light inside the snail.
- Again adding the same background, this time the opacity at default 50%.
- Applying it around the bottom.
- Also here.
- Bit on the body too.
- Now using Selective filter to pop the brighter part of the replicated light.
- Another separate selective filter on these bottom parts of the snail.
- Some masking work to remove the effect surrounding the effect applied.
- Now adding more brightness and bit of orangish tones.
- Applying this on the body of the snail.
- Will darken the top part of the image with Curves.
- Adding some light underneath now.
- Brightening and adding orangish tones.
- Tapping around the bottom of the snail to create this light.
- Will add one more with Tune Image now.
- Applying just at the bottom of this bright light.
- Now for some ambient light around the snail.
- As an artistic touch, using Double Exposure, adding this image with sparkles.
- Revealing only some of these in the masking screen. The final result here.
